Quit Smoking – The Domino Effect

I’m sure we have all seen the amazing domino set ups. Thousands of dominos falling one at a time to create an amazing pattern.

There are some important differences between dominoes and the domino effect from smoking.

  1. Domino displays are well thought out and with predictable outcomes. Smoking cigarettes is rarely thought out at all and the outcomes are highly unpredictable, not as to whether you will suffer, but how you will suffer, and for how long.
  2. Domino displays are fun and entertaining and harmless, inhaling toxic smoke may appear to be a kind of enjoyment but is anything but harmless.

In every smoker there is a domino effect, and there are many possible effects depending on genetics, epi-genetics (the effects of lifestyle on your genes), existing health status and the type of tobacco smoked and the number of cigarettes smoked.

The moist obvious pathway is within the lungs themselves. Lungs are very complex and nothing like balloons. Smoking creates a domino effect throughout the walls and the blood vessels of the lungs. Your throat is very similar. Lung and throat cancer are the shortest chains, both with terrible outcomes.

Mid-range domino chains include heart disease, and the longest chain would be a leg amputation as a result of diabetic complications from smoking.

But even the mild chains still have consequences, you smoke 20 per day for 20 years and you have sucked on 146,000 cigarettes. The financial cost in Australia is between $125,000 and $138,000 depending on how you buy them. What could you have done with that much money?

The smoking starts and the dominoes start to fall. As the chain continues you find it a little harder to breathe. You puff climbing the stairs and perhaps you stop playing sport or pursuing your favorite leisure activities.

As more dominoes fall you notice more chest colds and perhaps bronchitis. Your coughing gets worse of a morning and you start to cough up phlegm.

The progression may move to emphysema and then the worse diagnosis of lung cancer. This is certainly not the dominoes of the old Greek guys playing outside their cafes, this is life and death dominoes.

Dramatics and fear aside, it is just a really bad idea to smoke on every level, so when you realise this, there is a solution at hand. Advanced hypnosis gives you the best possible chance of creating a healthy domino effect.
